When this young guy came in, he had a tough request. He loved his claddagh wedding band, but it was too narrow and too thin. I have ways to add metal to make it heavier, but it had engraving on the inside that the client wanted to retain. And then he also wanted the option to wear the ring as is on occasions. To make it wider and protect the ring from bending due to how thin it was, I made a sleeve that is wider and thicker. The original band fits in the middle and is protected. Now it can be worn as it came or in the sleeve.
