The Fromage ring. That is what I called it. Inspiration can come at odd times. I got home late and was making a sandwich with a slice of cheese and thought that the idea of 'holes' in the gold would allow the person to see through the top layer. Then a little more thought and I used white gold on the top with yellow underneath. The yellow has been hammered and high polished and the holes in the two layers do not align to create this unusual but stunning look. Add a touch of color such as a vivid green tsavorite garnet and we have a new staff favorite.
