One of my favorite female clients came in with an idea. She wanted to rework a ring that was giving her some problems and she loves Hearts On Fire® diamonds. Then she says, make me something interesting. My most feared words. This is what raises my blood pressure. I don't want to do something just because I might like it. I want to do something the client will love and wear. She had a marquis cut diamond that was always getting knocked around in its original setting, so she wanted it remounted.She also wanted to set it with two Dream® cut diamonds by Hearts On Fire, that are both one carat each. She loves to wear her jewellery and sometimes forgets to remove her rings while gardening or doing things around the house, so I wanted to protect the diamonds. I set the center below the level of the side walls and channel set the Dream® cut diamonds. I added a little row of diamonds on the sides of the center and then some yellow gold on the sides of the ring. The best part of the ring was the reaction of the lady when she saw her ring for the first time. It was a big hit.
