This was an easy ring to make. The client had an old ring in hand that they loved and wanted us to copy it. The original was likely 70 or 80 years old. We kept all aspects of the original design true and went to our extensive in store inventory and found the client a deep rich blue sapphire in a cushion shape. The overall ring was made for a smaller hand and so a large gemstone would have looked odd but the depth of color on this sapphire makes it a standout.
