This gemstone caught my eye at a tradeshow. It was a larger size, but the unusual concave cut facets and bi-color of yellow and purple gave the gemstone a very interesting appearance. I wanted to keep the ring simple but somehow enhance the gemstone. I used two colors of gold, white and yellow to align with the colors of the gemstone and then added a texture that was similar to the facets in the gemstone. The combination worked very well.
