This was a very difficult ring to rebuild. It had lots of sentimental value, was an antique and made of platinum but worst of all was in very worn condition. The metal was worn down and thinner than paper in many places. However, this was destined to be an engagement ring for a fiancée that wanted a sapphire. Finding a beautiful rich sapphire was the easy part. We had to remake all the bezels, the side walls of the ring and new tips for the center sapphire. Also one of the marquis diamonds was chipped and finding a replacement with the exact measurements was a bit of a challenge. The finished ring turned out great. It looked like the original but in new condition. All the beaded edges were restored and the ring looked like it had new life.
