This ring was a bit of a challenge. A very dated cluster design with an unusually textured shank. The client loved a few elements of the original ring and wanted something more angular but still had a strict budget. We came up with the idea of keeping the shank, and inserting two gold strips to pave set the small diamonds and a bezel to set the center diamond. The ring was now wearable every day, had a more modern flavor and still retained some of the original design with its associated memories.
