For those of you who enjoy watching stars and celebrities walk the red carpet, mainly to ooh and ahh at the beautiful dresses and jewels, this one’s for you!
This past weekend Hollywood’s finest gathered in Beverly Hills to celebrate each other’s achievements of 2016. In addition to some news making barbs directed at certain current events, and a delightfully choreographed opening performance featuring Sarah Paulson, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Justin Timberlake, and the Stranger Things kids to name a few, there were endless beautiful jewels on the talented and famous invitees. Here is a closer look at a few, perhaps you’ll find some inspiration for your next Troy Shoppe Jewellers purchase!
The total cost of the Hearts On Fire pieces featured on the red carpet this year was a whopping five million dollars, according to HOF themselves! The stunning ex Victoria’s Secret model, Swarovski spokeswoman and empowering author Miranda Kerr wore a beautiful diamond bracelet, as well as diamond earrings from Hearts On Fire. The white gold pieces paired beautifully with her flowing snow white dress and ox blood lipstick. This is a classic, clean, old Hollywood look with a modern twist. Safe to say we LOVED it! Nina Dobrev, the Vampire Diaries and xXx: Return of Zander Cage co-star was channeling Marilyn Monroe with long, sleek curls (which she just sheared off into a gorgeous bob, but we’ll save that one for another post) and a classic red lipstick and dress for the InStyle magazine Golden Globes after party. The Bulgarian-Canadian (shout out to our Canadian stars!) kept her accessories relatively simple, with a pair of geometric HOF diamond earrings dangling against her dark, smooth curls. There isn’t much else to say about this look other than it was show simply stopping!
The last lovely lady on our list is Next and Wilhelmina models star, Nic Muirbrook. Decked out in Sylvie Collection jewels, the model momma look like a goddess in a glittering black strapless gown with white gold and diamond rings, bracelet and earrings. The beautiful 33 year old was grinning from ear to ear all night as she supported her man. A post of the two of them from the models Instagram read “What an incredible night #thankyou”. The American beauty was obviously delightfully grateful and humbled to be included in the night. It was heart warming to see her enjoying herself so much.
Award season is always filled with smiles, laughter, celebration and just a dash of juicy drama, this year the Golden Globes were no exception! We love Sylvie and Hearts On Fire, (and of course all the other wonderful names we carry) and are so proud to see them appearing on our favourite artists. Next stop, The Oscars!
