Sometimes I get a bit behind in my updates and this is an example. I was reminded I made this ring about five years ago for a special young man…my youngest son. He was graduating high school and played hockey with the National Sports Academy in high school. The academy had a saying that my son liked, and I built it into the ring along with his hockey number (coincidentally a number he stole from his Dad!). I also had an amazing Brazilian amethyst, which was my son’s birthstone, I added to the center. And after having so many setbacks in hockey that many a parent has experienced; my son went on to play junior hockey in the US. And there he learned to be a really decent team player.
