This ring uses a very unusual diamond. This type of diamond has been referred to as rustic, mystic or raw. These are diamonds that have a large number of internal characteristics and inclusions that make each one totally unique. There is very little faceting of these diamonds and sometimes they are even just slices of diamonds. Each one is unique and can vary a wide range of colors from grey, white, red, brown and many more shades. They are also very reasonably priced. The one shown in the ring was almost two and a half carats. The client wanted to show off the rustic diamond in a very simple white gold bezel setting. While not your traditional diamond look, they do get attention.
