Not all rings start easy. This client was really awesome to work with but wanted so many things in her ring due to the symbolic nature of the anniversary ring. I had to use the original diamond but added a Dream? cut diamond by Hearts On Fire. Then the ring had to have a stirrup shaped shank to help prevent rolling. That was not enough as there was a big difference from her knuckle to finger. I added stabilizers but did them as initials of significant people in the client's life. I also used yellow and white gold. Then I added a birthstone for all the family members. Everything came together to make a very special ring.
